We got a recommendation from a random stranger we met while having breakfast elsewhere in Newcastle. We enjoyed our first night so much we went back the second night, didn’t bother trying anywhere else. Good value both nights, would go back again next time we’re in Newcastle.

Came here with friends at about 9 o'clock and it was still really busy. However the fact that the cafe had been mobbed for hours never showed on the staff who were excellent and more than happy to accommodate. I was really surprised when the bill came and how cheap it was. For 4 main meals and 2 bottles of red for less than £80. Great meal, great atmosphere and great price.

In my many reviews both at home and abroad, I have given five stars feeling it was well deserved. This would mean that Pani's would rate six stars if allowed. You will struggle to find better home cooked food anywhere!

First visit today to this great Sardinian cafe but very impressed with this establishment. Very comfortable surroundings with great atmosphere and friendly helpful and attentive service. Will return and recommend.
