The set includes:
Amaro Marzadro 30% vol. 0.2l
Gin Luz 45% vol. 0.2l
Vermut Altolago 16% vol. 0.2l
In short: All the ingredients to conjure up a perfect Negroni cocktail!
Take gin, herbal bitters and red wormwood in equal parts – put in a mixing glass, add ice and stir for about 30 seconds (do not shake!) Until the glass is fogged up.
Then strain into a tumbler and garnish with an orange zest
Amaro Marzadro
Amaro Marzadro is inspired by the ancient recipes of herbal liqueurs based on the Trentino tradition.
As early as the 1950s, Attilio and Sabina Marzadro were collecting aromatic plants and herbs on the mountain range of the 2,218 meter high Monte Baldo in order to flavor their distillates.
In this way, alpine dock, yellow gentian, bryan beet, chamomile, fennel, Benedictine herb, galega and various types of yarrow are pickled for 20 to 30 days after a careful selection by hand.
The liqueur owes its red color to the alpine dock or mountain rhubarb, which gives it a bitter and at the same time fresh taste.
Gin Luz
Leonardo Veronesi starts the first experiments to create Luz Gin in 2013.
After years of experimenting with different types of plants, Marzadro has obtained a distillate that is both fresh and aromatic at the same time.
Macerated separately from nine Trentino plants (juniper, laurel, olive, woodruff, rosemary, sage, clary sage, common mint and lemon) and then distilled in the classic 1,000l still.
Vermouth Altolago
“Altolago” arises from the experience of two neighboring worlds. Madonna delle Vittorie, Marzadros Cellar on Lake Garda and the distillery further north.
Vermouth is a cuvée of grapes that are pressed in red and rosé and flavoured by cold fermentation. Complex but elegant, to be enjoyed both pure and mixed.
